So I modified my 20 bar ends do they would fit my bars...I had to cut about a half inch off them because they had a solid piece that is supposed to slip inside the handlebar along with the piece of rubber that you tighten down and holds the bar end in place...so the rubber and this extension of the bar end were too big...after cutting the extra piece of bar end off I decided to use a piece of 3/8 fuel line in place of the rubber...it worked magnificently...so after this i started looking at the bike to find a place to relocate the footpegs...i want to move them back about 3 inches or so...so there i was looking and i decided to play with the shift lever a bit to see what i could do to keep from having to get some kind of kit for it...i decided that i could flip the bar and just click down to shift up...i think it will work great...now the bad news comes in...I removed the lever but as i was doing so i noticed that I have OIL on the shaft that sticks out in order to shift...I think this is an Uh oh...and I'm wondering what i'm going to need to do to fix this...
