I did it to myself. When I took the set of carbs for my F apart to rebuild I replaced the butterfly shaft seals. I took the thin flat washers into work and made them nice and flat. Then the gremlins stole them. I have fricking tore everything apart looking for them, no luck.
Soooo. Is it a big deal to just use regular lock washers in their place? It doesn't look right. I know because I have a rack of 80/81 carbs that have them. Any ideas, opinions, or concerns about using regular lock washers?
