Has anyone here replaced their front brake M/C with one off of a Venture or VMax? I am seriously considering the hydraulic clutch mod and changing both brake and clutch levers to that setup would make them match and also fix my ugly oxidized brake resevoir that came on the 79F. I want to be sure they will work before I try to sweet talk SWMBO into letting me buy the parts for the mod.

M/C Bore Size
I am guessing you are refering to the bore diameter of the Venture/VMax M/C. I will have to look that up.1979XS1100SF

Nathan, I just went back and reread Jesse's hydraulic clutch thread, and he was going to change to a FJ master. Jesse also mentioned the VMax masters which is probably where I got the idea in the first place.1979XS1100SF

if it helps the stock bore is 11/16 and the stock
bore on my aussie rh is 5/8 the same as the midnites but
running to both front callipers, so if the m/c ur looking at
has either sizes of these bores u should be sweet to go.pete
