  • Torque Spec?

    Anyone know what the torque spec for the rear hub mounting bolts are? Also the brake rotors? Not seeing anything for them in the book.

    Nate, the rotor bolts are 14.5 ft/lb, as specified in the FSM. As for the hub bolts, no torque value available, so just good 'n tite.

      Phil's got it right. 14.5 with new lock/ retainers. Check page 5-21 in your 78E manual. If in doubt go with the gereral torque spec's by bolt diameter. That at least takes care of the discrepencies previously noted in these manuals.
