Yeah, full hitch and a trailer. Something fell on the top of the trailer and the fiberglass is cracked. I was thinking of repairing it before I sell it, but I won't do that until I've got the bike finished.

What I think I am going to do is sell everything individually. I am in the process of figuring out pricing, but here's what the items will look like:

-Fairing and windshield with mounting bracket and wiring harness
-Rear saddle bags with mounting brackets and hardware, keys and locks
-Rear trunk with rack and mounting hardware, keys and locks
    -Crash bars front with lighting
    -Crash bars rear with lighting
-Gas tank w/o petcocks, sending unit, or cap
-Trailer with hitch, lighting, and all mounting hardware including wiring harness
    -Seat

      Hi TJ,
Now we know it is not a Venturer no more reservations about stripping all the touring gear off. I suggest you offer someone the oppertunity to take the "whole meal deal" first though as it is a nice set up.
I have found a rear rack to be very useful so you might want to reconsider that. As always she is yours to do with as you please.

I can understand all the other stuff, but why the gas tank? That's the original tank that it came with, and keeping the petcocks is useless if your going to put a special tank on it (along with losing about a gallon of fuel capacity) as the petcocks are different and not interchangeable (the sending unit on the other hand can be swapped between the two tank styles). If your going to swap tanks, you will almost surely want to swap the seat for a special seat as well, since otherwise you will have an ugly gap between the seat and tank.

I have two standard tanks. There's no use for the second.

The sending units are not identical between a standard and a special. While one will mount in the others place, they will not truly interchange. The standards used a fuel gage and the specials a light so they do not give the same signal.

Now if your also swapping gages, then you could swap the fuel sending units as well.

Guys- I never said anything about switching to a "Special" tank.

My fault, when you said "cruiser" and selling the tank, I jumped to the unjustified conclusion that you were going to put a special tank on it as that is considered the "cruiser" tank. If your selling an extra tank I may be very interested as I need a spare good tank so I can properly paint mine (or good replacement) while I continue to ride my daily driver.
