lol I'm not really sure where I am. Navy Base San Diego..? I take the 28th st exit though..

I did find a cable, from Ocean Beach Motorcycles. I sat and chatted for a good hour or so with them today. They even didn't mind me borrowing some tools for a bit (loose mirror.)

I could ride up your way on Saturday, how long do you think the ride is? The bike really isn't in bad shape from what I can tell, it sounds a bit rough under 3k, but after it warms up it idles fine at 1-1.5k

        Local help

Hi Sam, I am about an hour away up north from the Naval Base. If you want to get ahold of Garthxs, he lives 5 minutes from you. It sounds like a quick sparkplug change, some carb cleaner, should help your bike. A synch is preferred to get the carbs dead on. SO,,,,you can ride up here, or get ahold of Garthxs, and either of us can synch your carbs, look over your xs and b.s. about these bikes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Mike in S.DIego
