Did you leave them on the rack? If so take them off and remove the enrichment circuit parts and clean in there as well. As well as the imulsion tube and the pilot jets, the pic shows them all installed still.

Make sure you have an exact fitting screwdriver, even if you have to grind one to the right size. It'll save you a lot of greif from stripping out those pilot jets. I've found the correct one needs the sides ground down to fit exactly down in the tunnel, leaving it as wide as possible. HTH

ground down an old stanley screwdriver and got them out... all we pretty clean except carb number one. that thing WAS all green and corroded and u can only see like 3 holes out of the possible 9( i think ) so i got all them together in there individual baggies lables 1,2,3, and 4 for and let them sit in brasso over night. oh and yes 42.5 mains across the rack. but ill need to get bigger ones to comp for the pods and exhaust

Should only be 6 holes in the pilots. If there is more or less a PO put in the wrong pilots. There are other pilots that fit but are not correct and will mess things up, but your bike was running well before.....

I know someone asked before but I saw no answer, Did you pull the emulsion tubes? They do tend to crap up.
