Hmmm... people are saying you need to pull the oil filter, but I just today dropped two motors out the ride side (via the 'lay-down' method) and didn't pull the filter on either...

Just turned mine on the side this afternoon and lifted the frame off. Only things I removed the oil filter and oil pan, I do have the whole bike striped though so there was nothing else to get in the way. Did it by myself in about 20 minutes, so its not hard.Nathan
