    Can any of you guys tell me if there is a difference in the cams (ie lobe height)in any of the models the P.O. snapped the camchain and replaced the cams i guess the intake lobe was wiped. anyway the bike has never run right

    The 78-79 use their own type of cam and the 80-82, their own. The actual specs should be in the FSM.

        I have two sets of cams, all in perfect condition. Both sets from 1979 bikes. Going cheap + postage.... Let me know if you want some....

          IIRC, the early model cams are stamped 2H7 on them and the later models have 3H? on them. This would help you identify the cams you have anyway.

            im not finding any stamps on my cam beside the IN and EX and a 9S on the exhaust and 1P on the intake???
