    Allen Screws

    Allen screws,AKA socket head cap srews, can be gotten thru WW Grainger or MSC on the web. Remember the truely rustproof stainless screws are made from 300 series stainless, which is softer than the 400 seriesor the 17-7 or 18-8 stainless. Heat treated 420 stainless is about as tough as it gets, but it will eventually corrode. I know from experince that WW Grainger has smaller packages of screws than some of the other online stores.

      C-Bug, sounds like you need to purchase a GOOD set of metric allens. Nate, no such thing as too many tools!...........even if only needed one time.

          http://www.mcmaster.com/#.... that's where I get most of my bulk hardware. Reasonable prices, great selection and pretty fast shipping. For really hard-to-find bolts (mostly chrome where I don't trust SS) I like this guy: http://www.allensfasteners.com/default.asp He sells singles, and has some lengths that are hard to find too. Fast cheap shipping, as least to the US.
