I'm having a little bit of a problem with getting spark. I only get spark once every time I turn the ignition on. What would cause this?

what model bike have you got?
if its the early model fitted with a ballast resistor
that could be causing ur problems,
its situated under the tank on the left hand side
rail, disconnect the 2 wires and join them together
then try starting it, also be sure to have a good charge
on ur battery.
