What's your opinion of the progressive's vs. the stock springs?

      HI
my stock springs were 5mm under spec.the progressives dont need air and just that alone is a plus.the ride is much better as i put a tkat fork brace on at the same time.

        Boing...

Agree with you there Jim -

My Progressive springs and spacers went in at the beginning of the year and I really think they've improved things - although very limited mileage this year because of other glitchs and not much garage time. So the Tkat brace was a good move then?

I had Progressive springs put in during June of 2001, many thousands of miles on them since. OEM springs were sagging and needed to be replaced anyway. I had put on a Tkat fork brace earlier in the season, and together with the new springs the improvment in handling was quite pronounced.

The XJ has a token fork brace built into the fender, so not as much improvement when Tkat brace was added, but still noticeable.
