    ignition problems

    have any of you guys had any problems with the stator leads interfearing with the ignition opertion? especailly the one that the tach reads off of?

    If the plug from the alternator behind the fuse panel is corroded/melted, it will not charge the battery well and cause ignition problems. JAT

      I had a corroded plug... can't remember which one, but when I unplugged it, the bike would spark better, and the tach and dash lights were out. You just need to clean or replace the corroded plug.
