It will pretty much mount up like any other 4-1. There is a special hanger bracket that goes with it which uses the passenger footpeg bolt and the stock muffler hanger location....

I was able to use the centerstand with both the Kerkers I've had.
Getting the oilfilter out is fun, but it can be done without exhaust removal.
If you have an oil cooler it's even more fun.
Other than the stock exhaust, I like the Kerkers best. Good pick!79 XS11 Special (Lazarus)

I've only tried to change the oil once with the Kerker. I could not get it out without removing the pipes. After I got it all buttoned back up, I wondered if I could get the filter out of the dog bowl and just remove the filter without removing the whole bowl. Is that how you did it?
It actually was a good thing that I did pull the exhaust. I found that the PO decided because the exhaust gaskets did not fit in with the Kerker and stock exhaust studs, that they were not necessary. I hope he didn't run it that way for too long. Longer studs and new gaskets were the next parts purchased.79 XS1100 SF - name TBD - possibly "Divorce Maker" Kerker 4 into 1, K&N filter in stock air box
