having trouble in the low rpms

    The photo shows a butterfly on the end of the carb towards the cylinders. The slide is in the middle of the carb body, you would only see it from this angle if the butterfly was open.

      The butterflies are at the engine side of the carb; when installed, you see the slides. Push the slide up with your finger and you'll see 'em...

          well i looks>at it and saw the octy was hooked up to that port so if the p/u is suppose to go there were douse the octy vac go

            The octy goes to the spigot on the rubber boot right up against the head.

            Doesn't really matter which one, but generally is on the same intake line as the vacuum advance.

              ok so i just switched them around..ill find out tomorrow if that fixes my problem...because i am replacing the clutch and springs along with changing the oil and filter...oh and what size is that washer on the oil filter thing i seem to have ummm misplaced it
