is your standard tank good? If your standard tank is good I would trade straight up with you. I dont care about paint but as long as the tank isnt rusty I would trade. I have a special tank on my standard right now and I am looking for a standard tank.Last edited by natemoen; 08-09-2010, 04:14 PM.Nathan

Just dont understand these "special looks better than standard" guys. Specials are a dime a dozen.Trapped in time. Surrounded by evil. Low on gas.

Yep, I like the look of my standard. It's not the cookie cutter special at all. Every tank out there now looks like that, or at least the cruiser ones do.Cy

my SG rig gets the same gas mileage as my Buick. That's why it has a Standard tank on it plus a rack for a jerrycan. You may prefer how a Special tank looks but you'll really hate it when you run out of gas and have to push that 600lb machine to a gas station.Fred Hill, S'toon

It's still not great, but the enjoyment makes the gap even bigger.Cy
