I figured that it was worth taking the chance...I wanted to carry a spare on the bike, figuring that if the TCI did decide to go south, that it would be good insurance to have a back-up.
I paid $450 for the bike, countless hours in the meantime on upgrades and fussing and mods etc.
Paying that kind of big money for NOS parts is actually forbidden by an Ancient Family Decree. We're kinda thrifty in this gene pool.
