The exhaust valves are the same on all models IIRC, however, I believe the intake valves on the 80-81 are larger than the 78-79. I know they are different sizes on the intakes.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

I think you are correct about the exhaust being the same and the intake being different. Dont remember the sizes off hand though.Nathan

Looks like the exhaust valves are mostly the same size - except that the heads are 1mm wider on the later ones.

The intake and exhaust valves are both of a larger diameter, also the valve stems are shorter on the later valves as the valves are set more deeply into the head for clearance.Guy
