Urgently need right front brake caliper for 81 XS1100 LH Midnight special. XJ1100 is supposed to be the same. All help appreciated ! Brian

Just a note, the LH is not the same as an SH. It matches the XJ in brake systems. I looked at the fiche, they are a screwy beast to say the least. On all other XS models I have seen the two front calipers are basically identical, just mirrored side to side on the specials. On these two models the right and left front mount ocmpletely different and neither one looks to have the single bolt beveled pad design of the Special models.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!

Can you not rebuild the one you have. You can find small 2 and 3 legged brake hones. They work well. I even found a very small 2 legged brake hone that fits into the MC bore.
