I was hoping my numbers would have improved by now but no luck. I need rings. I really don't want to go to a bigger bore kit as I want to keep him stock. Anyway a couple questions. One. what damage am I doing by riding with poor compression; and, TWo Can you still get stock rings?

New rings are still available, although a used motor is probably cheaper. $50 a set per piston...

if the engines quiet, you wouldnt be doing any damage,
if you can here the piston slapping, that could be a different
story, have you tried adjusting your valves?
