Actually mine came with a bracket that attaches to the foot peg mount so the picture is correct.I can get a picture tomorrow if you want.Attaches to the hole in the can to the foot peg.

I'd like to see the pics you have...I have a bracket but it does not match up..whats more the sound of the kerker isnt much different than the Jardine I just took off. Are you running it with the baffle?

Describe the bracket-actually it should be a piece of metal maybe 1/4" thick with 2 holes on each side.

The Kerker bracket utilizes the right passenger footpeg and stock exhaust bolt mounts. The can mount is about 5" in back of the rear footpeg. With the XJ, you might have to make a custom one.

Actually my Kerker with the baffle has its own distinct sound.I think i replaced the insulation back in the early 90's.Definitely can hear me coming.Do you have a bracket?If not i could make one and send it to you.

Yeah that's it-one end goes into the foot peg hole and the other to the top of the can.

Ben, it looks like you are missing the rubber bushing where the factory exhaust would go. If you replaced that, maybe the bracket will bolt up, as the pin fits in there. You could always attach a piece of flat bar to the end of the bracket running to the can if it's not long enough. I may have an extra bushing if you think it will work.

Hi Phil..I have some other pcs of hardware...I think there is a rubber piece but not sure if its a bushing...it looks like a rubber washer/grommet..pls describe this bushing...

It looks like a large shock absorber bushing, with a steel sleeve in the center for a bolt. Same thickness as your shiny footpeg mount bracket.

Yep, I see that. Must be an XJ thing. Flatbar extension and a couple of bolts. You'll love the Kerker. Mine is over 20 yrs. old and still running strong.
