Can't remember where the rubber gaskets go for the headlight uprights. I found two on the shelf but I've gone brain dead.

They go below the headlight brackets on top of the fork cover nameplate. When I installed mine, I found I needed to loosen the top pinch bolts and the bolt holding the top triple tree in place.

They go under the cover with the Yamaha logo on it on the bottom part of the triple tree .

Not quite

Getting there though. Finished with the wiring and and bucket last night. Doing the front MC and caliper rebuilds today and by "miller" time I should have the front wheel on. Depends on how the bleeding goes. After that it's just the exhaust, engine guard and finally putting the carbs back together. While my compression numbers improved they are still under what they should be. I'm going to bench sync the carbs and run it for a week or so to see if the rings free up before I colour and carb tune it. At this point I'd be happy if it starts even if it runs poorly.
