    Take the wires all the way out of the housings and hit them good with a small wire brush, or even fine sandpaper on the male connectors. Clean the connector, reassemble, and dielectric grease them FROM THE BACK. You can get the wires out using a very small screwdriver and a small cotter pin that's been straightened out. And of course, make sure you get the wires back in the same holes they came out of. Once again, the best way to do it is to replace the crimp on connectors, and trim 1/4" off the end of all the wires. Wires tend to corrode on the ends, and no amount of cleaning is going to get the corrosion out of the sheath. Still, cleaning them helps.
