Hey, Folks.
On my '80SG, there are two horns. One works, but it's only a pittiful little "meep". I'm looking at replacing the two with something much more... abrasive. When a cager doesn't see me and tries to swerve into my lane, I like the horn to be a real slap in the face that comes right before the exhaust blast that I try to blow out his windows with as I get the heck outta there. I think it's important for cagers to learn that they could have killed someone because they neither checked their mirror, blind spot, nor signalled.
Here's my question: does anyone have a colour wiring diagram? I've been going blind trying to decipher the black and white one that I've got. I'm trying to see what else is on the horn circuit before I go and add 10 amps of horn. I expect 10 amps is too much, but I found a couple nice big out of tune horns that are tempting my to try them out.
Thanks,
Brian
