surety bond for a title?

i found a local insurance company who wrote the bond for me. only $75. the paperwork is sent in, now it's a waiting game. on to the rear mc and the linked calipers.

Well, the economy might be crap in MI, but at least they have a simple system to getting title for a bike. They run the VIN (free), and if it doesn't come up as stolen, you get title. I had to sign an affidavit telling how I got the bike, and had to wait 3 months, but it was smooth sailing.

i hope i don't have to wait 3mo for the title! i hope to be riding it by the 4th of july.
