So, after I replaced the oil seals on the crankshaft, I replaced the alternator and the timing cover. (can you replace the timing cover incorrectly) I tried to start the bike but it only sputtered and acted like it wanted to turn over. I cleaned the spark plugs and then I noticed that the carbs seemed to jump when the engine popped, so I decided to pull the carbs. The brass valves on carbs 1,2 & 4 were blackened, but number three was clean and shiny.
Any thoughts?
