xj1100 clutch trans update

ok trans gear pictures with lables help








ok it looks like rub marks on 1st gear
2nd gear to 1st look rounded
5th looks round like it should be
4th looks rounded like it should be
3rd to 2nd ?
what do you think
also get this there was only one clip on the shifter shaft the inner one was missing and ther was a washer ? dint see a washer in the fix
and ther outer c clip was missing on the outside of ther oil pump gear on ther other side of shifter shaft inner one is there
also i dint have a return sping on the clutch cable arm?
seems like someone was in here that dint no what they were doing

ok it looks like some rub marks on 1st gear?
2nd gear dogs to 1st gear ther corners look rounded?
2nd gear dogs to 3rd gear slots look rounded like they should be?
3rd gear slots to 2nds gear dogs look rounded like they should be with some rub wear and sleight corner ware?
5th gear dogs to 4th gear slots look rounded like they should be sleight rub ware?
4th gear slots to 5th gear dogs looks rounded like it should be with minimal ware?
5th gear dogs to 4th gear slots look rounded like they are suppost to be?
thats if iam correct in gears
tell me what you think and what should i do?

and i could never get the gear to shif past 1st and nutral wile sitting when i test drove it 1st 2nd rattled and slipt out but i did get it into 3rd 4th and it ran no rattle?

The service manual, if you don't have one, has the exploded view and description of each gear, washers, clips, etc. and can be downloaded from any one of CatonicBug's posts. It's best to refurbish all the dogs and slots on all the gears on the countershaft while you're in there. If you do it now, you probably won't have to go in there for a long while.

do i have it right 1st pic is 1st gear
2nd pic is 2nd gear to 1st with bad dogs
3rd pic is 2nd gear with dogs going to 3rd gear slot
4th pic is 5th gear going to 4th gear slots
5th pic is 3rd gear slots going to 2nd dogs
6th pic is 4th gear slots gouing to 5th gear dogs
