Hi Pat!
I just went out to the shop and recheck the serial number that I originally quoted.
It is still the same; 2H7100321, manufactured Nov, 1977. I still think mine was the 220th of the original production run.
Pat, yours would have been one of the original production ones as well, having been assembled in 11/77.

Jeff, what was the month and year of manufacture of your bike? Mine was 11/77. I just went out and rechecked the serial numbers on both the engine and frame. (up on the steering head post) They match and it says: 2H7100321.I don't know what happened to the extra zero.
If I could figure out how to post a digital photo on this site I would shoot pics of both the engine and chassis numbers. This will have to wait until next week as I'm off in the morning working my way down to Denny Zanders XS11 bash.

I'm off and running in the am. Good night.
