I've run it in an old truck I had with a bad rod knock, drove that truck a long time. Never tried it in my bike, I'd think it would hurt more then help, I'd be especially worried about the clutch and how the oil would effect it.

These engines will run for a long time with nothing more then regular oil changes, why add an unknown? Do you have some noise your hoping to get rid of??

I run amsoil in it now with no problems but I work in an auto parts store and can get a good price on Lucas products. They make a motorcycle oil with no additives and is sopoosed to be wet clutch safe

        Hi Widowmaker,
this is not a "Prince of Darkness" joke but a real product?
        One lives and learns.
mind you, my son bought Royal Purple oil for his car and I thought the Royal Purple was a ladies service organization.

I'm not familiar with their "motorcycle" oil. The only "Lucas" oil I've ever seen is an oil additive that is about twice as thick as honey and is supposed to coat and cling to motor parts.

I use it on a regular basis when the weather is warmer late spring through the summer . I only use 10% to 25% and have never had any clutch issues.
