I realized I have no bolt holding the rear of my tank down. If anyone knows what size or hardware aside from just a bolt please tell me while I've got this taken apart so I can get whatever I need.
TIA
i wouldnt worry about it TOOOOOOO much. Depending on how much you weigh....the seat is going to hold it down okay.....at least until you hit the hardware store and pick up a couple of different sized metric screws to try out....
someone here will chime in with the correct size.....

I always worried what my tank would do in a wreck since just the seat holds mine down. The bike flipped and slid seat first this last weekend.. and the tank didn't budge.. so I guess it holds it pretty well! lol. But.. I think the XJ seat overlaps the tank a bit more than the XS.

PO had the bolt it turns out. I found it after seeing the size you put and thinking "hey, I think I saw that with some other things PO left me." No washer, but I had one that fit.
Um, Tod...you are way to excited about all the things you learned by getting in the wreck. I would almost think you are 'hoping' for another one in about a year just to test a few more things out.

Haven't you heard the news? Tod's our new 'crash test dummy"...
His #1 job now is putting the 11 through it's paces... slamming into gaurdrails at high speeds... blowing out E3's to see if their still rideable...flipping upside down to see if the tank stays in place w/o the hold down bolt installed...
you name it... he's our guy. And he does it all just for us... so we don't have to!
hehehe... (Sometimes I crack myself up...)
Just yankin' your chain, Tod... Now don't be hatin'...
Heal fast, my friend.
