any ideas on after market mufflers

Thanks all, i think im gona try and use a pair of HD mufflers i found on ebay, price is right and should fit real nice, you all have been a big help.

I thought about doing that, but I was gonna weld a piece of 2" long pipe in the end a little larger diameter than stock and hone them out to a nice even finish to have some back pressure. Wasn't sure how loud it would be though.

I'd say give it a shot. I was really happy about how the sound on mine turned out (unknown aftermarket 4 into 2's) with a pair of 24inch packs it sounded awesome. Pretty quiet while crusing but when you give the throttle a nice twist it let out a healthy bark! and if you dont like how they turn out I can take them off your hands I do suggest something for back pressure. I need to figue something out for mine. Perhaps some sort of funnel shape inside the the pipe? any ideas??

Look at the Dennis Kirk or the JCW catalog, they have some cheap bolt in baffles that would work. Probably would be an easy fix.
