Engine gets wet, cuts out.

    On my bike, it seemed to be the connector that the pickup coil wires share with the neutral light. When wet, if in neutral, it would start up fine, as soon as you put it in gear, one of the pickup coils would short through the neutral switch and I would lose 2 cylinders. I greased up that connection and haven't had any problems since.

      I went and bought some elec. grease today. I think I'll grease everything! Just go nutz with it!
      "The Hooligan" XJ1100, Virago Gauge Pods, Screaming Eagle Mufflers, K&N Filter, hand made rear fender, side covers, and solo seat, round bar conversion, small headlight, tail light, and cat eye turn signals, chip fuses, rewired the right way.
