It appears that in the first four pictures, that the inlet side of your carbs as they set in your jig, are lower then the manifold side. That being said, I wonder if they are leveled laterally also. If your going to do the experiment, there should be some controlled constants.
Of course, in situation they are sitting in all different attitudes especially while yanking and banking through some sweet twisties....
Someone stated that you can't use a combination of plastic and brass floats...
I disagree in that it is the effective regulation of the fuel level. The float measurement and setting will be different for plastic or brass, but if you check and adjust like this, they should be effectively calibrated.
