    Ignitor unit asy 1 378-001

    Hello, Thanks for looking

    I have a XJ 1100 J Maxim. It appears from the sop that I need to get a new IGNITOR UNIT ASY part number 378-001 as I don't have any spark. the problem is that I can not buy one from any where that I have found. Any Ideas? The shop said that they did not have the manual's tester. but all that I could test shows that it is the issuel

    Whoo there. I don't have the answer but I think you should back up a bit and tell us some more about the problem and what symptoms you have. What have you tested, what were the results, and what is still working ?

      I still don't have a clue what he wants or where that part number comes from. That doesn't match a TCI or the coil numbers... so not sure what he's after.

        I don't have any idea what you're looking for Erick.That's not a good part #.You can look up Yamaha part #'s on Yamahas website or at Bike Bandit.Welcome aboard.
