      The old timing chain in the Venturer was held together with a removeable type clip.

        Well, I got the new master link and it is different than the one they sent with the chain to begin with.I have a couple pics to show the difference.
        They are cellphone pics, so not real clear.
        The one I got today is the one with the holes in the pins and the pins are smaller diameter.The pins are the same distance apart, but now I'm worried that the smaller pins might not be strong enough.Plus the link feels loose
        compared to the other.WTF?
        Just want to find out if anyone had this situation and used the link with the holes and small pins.Problem or no?

            I have the smaller one with the holes that I described earlier. @45-50k miles ridden harder than most with no problems.
