Note that is for a standard, it could be made to fit to a special but not a simple bolt on and go fit.

i was trying to get a new mac 4-2 but have had no luck. i bought a complete stock system on ebay for $294. (shipping included) and the only rust is on the weld on the crossover pipes. really a nice set!!!!

        Will a 79F exhaust fit a 78 2H9?

I too am looking at this listing. Does anyone know if the 79F exhaust fits a 78 2H9 without modification?

I believe that the standard exhaust is the same from 1978-1981. And the Special is the same from 1979-1981. But a standard exhaust does not bolt right up to a special, believe me.

Cheap? Not any more.....not a great example to be attracting that kind of interest methinks.
Should be interesting to see where it ends up. Mebbe the same guys who want the recond' carbs on another auction...

                  Pretty rusty

By looking at the condition of the headers ASK if it has any rust through on the mufflers.
