The aluminum solder sounds like the way to go. I've tried the JB Weld only, it does work, but it will slowly deteriorate, say over a year. Can't remember if I used the 5 minute crap, or the good kind.

Can I put petcocks from a 79 SF onto the 79 F tank? Are the center to center distances for the bolts the same?'79 XS11 F
