    Just a note that on the Big Island Deuce trip I logged 3500 kms and my gas milage came out to just under 6 litres per 100 kms which tranlates to about 49 MPG to the Americans out there.
    Down from 53 I had gotten earlier.
    My carbs are running lean and I have had the Harley mufflers installed this spring.

        6L/100km works out to just a tad over 40 miles per US gallon. Still good! (Liters/3.7854 = US gallons)

        Would you be meaning Imperial gallon? I know Norm Willey was using the Imperial mpg figures at the rally...
