  • '79 Parts Manual

Can anyone refer me to a parts manual in pdf for a 79 xs1100 standard.

I downloaded a couple for the 81 XS1100H, but need for the 79 standard.

I havent got a manual for a standard, only a special, but if you check this site you'll find all the part numbers you need.

      Thanks, question tho.

I have the '79 XS1100 standard European. Would that make it a XS1100E (for european) or XS1100S (for Standard)

I dont see just XS1100 in the drop down list there.

So far this is the closest I could find to mine.

Use the first 3 letters of your engine number (probably 2H7) in the model id box on the parts site, with 'any' in the model box, then click 'go find' and you should see the model series in the left hand column.

              K, got all those done, says it's a XS11002H9

Least I got that part done now. Thanks. And finally see that the bike is not New Yamaha Black, but Black gold.

This clears up several problems I ran into
