    its here!

Well the windscreen is here , and it a match I was worried because the pics on the site didn't really look like it would fit , but it will. Just have to drill the wholes and mount it. Oh yeah I think I have the wiring licked , but I still need to put it on the bike

      New Sexy Screen

      Hi Garth,

Glad to hear the screen fits. Where did you get it from? Do they come flat and get the curve from fitting them to the fairing or are they slightly curved?

          done!

well Scott ( 3phase) came down and helped me install the fairing today and it turned out to be quit a lot of work, we pulled off the headlight and ended up pulling the ears as well , wired up the pigtail and test fitted the fairing and with a little bending of the bracket and adjusting this and that we got it on . unfortunately we pulled the end off the pigtail and had to rewire it again! but did that in a jiffy . next was drilling the wholes for the windscreen and that went pretty well, and no cracks! . so its all back together only a couple of mishaps , I think my ballast resister is unplugged because the bike only fires with the starter button depressed , and I am down one right hand side cover because Scott sat on the bike with no seat and cracked it Do'h luckily he has an extra to spare. sorry no pics but I will post some tomorrow with more light.

"I think my ballast resister is unplugged because the bike only fires with the starter button depressed"

My '78 was doing the same thing, after playing with the fairing, and it was a loose connection in the main power feed that used to be inside the headlight.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...
