I'm thinkin' it had something to do with the dog pee. What breed was it? Did you check it's API service stamp?
Guy - OK, that was funny . lol

thats my guess.... Don't feel bad, when I did my second gear fix I accidently forgot to put one of the washers back in the "stack" when I put my clutch back together and it took me a week to figure it out. I even had a real paper shop manual and I swear I double checked the diagram before putting it in. BTW Cy, if you find yourself in need of any other clutch parts let me know, I have I think 2 almost complete clutch assemblies on my shelf, and I'm looking for someplace to ride to...the flip side of that is that you'll have to endure my pointing and laughing while you try to work.

The dog pee was what made the part break, but it was the id10t error putting it together that was keeping it from working. At this point it's been working pretty well since October. I'm not sure why this thread got resurrected now. Seems like the member who resurrected it has posted the same problem at least 4 times so far that I have seen, each in a different thread.

Just a little comic relief, I didn't even look at the date on the thread. Glad you got it all sorted out.
