I'm in the process of installing my new green monsters I read that the wires going to the coils can be hooked up both ways is this right? and the correct way to hook up the plug wires I know the coils run certain cylinders but how do you know which one should plug in at the coil since theres two options. I'm stupid and need help

That is correct, the polarity running to the coils can be hooked up either way. The coil which you have hooked the orange lead to will go to cyls 1+4, the coil with the grey lead will go to cyls 2+3. Both spark plug wires on each coil fire at the same time (wasted spark system), so as long as they go to 1+4 and 2+3, you're good.

        The monsters are alive

I got the mikes xs green coils installed today Thanks again Bikerphil. It runs great off idle. when idling #3 cylinder cuts in and out soon as throttle is given runs on all four very smoothly. guess I'm pullin the carbs back off. I'm thinking it must be a pilot circuit issue. at least I have the coils installed so I wont shock myself anymore
