    Hi Matt,
    from Clymer's 1980-1981 suppliment:-
    '80 Standards use 8.15oz (241cc) while '80 Specials & Midnights use 7.1oz (210cc)
    FYI; from Clymer's manual:-
    '78 & '79 Standards use 7.17oz (212cc) while '79 Specials use 7.61oz (225cc)

Thanks! I guessed right. Had an interesting problem that developed once the fork oil was in & reinstalled the handlebars. The front brake lever went all the way in without any resistance at all! The ft wheel was also just reinstalled with a new Dunlop Elite 3 tire & both calipers were removed to fit it between the forks. The ft master was rebuilt just one month ago & was working great. It took a few rides up the block before I got some restored lever feel, and then I had to rebleed both ft calipers to get back to full normal.
