  • 81 xs1100r valve clearance

can anyone please tell me the correct inlet valve clearance for this model. its got xs1100r on comp. plate, but apparently is an "RH", according to previous threads. serial no. 5n5.....etc. have got them set at .11-.15 currently and suspect this may be incorrect (the manual i have stated this for models past 1980). cheers fellas.

    Hey Hazza,
Nice to see another aussie on board,
    Inlet valves are 4 - 6 thou
    Exhaust valves are 8 - 10 thou,

The 'H' represents the year of the bike, that being an 81.
    The 'R' is the model.

    Hope this helps.

      That's right

for valve clearances. Had two RH's they go a bit better than standard versions.
