I use a spirit level type synch (cheap and easy to make, and very accurate). Its obvious which way you need to go before the engine even starts. Once it gets to where you can start it without the fluid rushing to one cylinder, it is very sensitive, to the point that the weight of the screwdriver on the screw will make an inch or so worth of difference.
So the issues drag on :)

Yeah, the last thing you need is a half ounce of ATF in each cylinder..
I think I have a loose screw behind the handlebars.
