Great now a other issue

WHICH Oem coils, the later 81/82 series 4Ro, or the earlier 78-80 series 2H7? IF the 2H7, did you connect the ballast resistor back up in line?? They will burn up if you run the full 12 volts all the time, and with only 1.5 ohms in them, it can also damage the TCI!

They are the 2H7 series. I did reinstall the ballast resistor.

I replaced the coils with the ones my cousin gave me. It turns out they are the factory ones used on our bikes. Lucky me

Took the bike for a test ride. Guess what. No more hesitation.

Glad that the issue has been resolved. Another MikesXS $35 coil bites the dust.
