Mine have the Prime toward the front. What way are they suppose to be?

Your petcocks are installed on the wrong side(s). They can go on either side. It also doesn't make any difference, other than the handle positions and the outlets are reversed. It will run perfectly fine that way.
Thanks. I bought this bike this way. As long as I can run it in on and have a reserve, I will leave the rest until this winter (long Michigan winter). I want to ride it this year and make any additional repairs over the winter. This forum has been a great help.
