You can install that screw right there at the bike.Just put the washer on the screw then the o-ring then install the screw in the hole.
I have bought those o-rings at a local bike shop. They need to be fuel grade.Auto parts store might have em.You will probably need an old one to match it up.Maybe just take the screw with you, they might be able to help you out that way.

If the threads are ok in that hole, just screw in the new screw with 0-ring and washer of course.
Those carbs dont generally break the screw point. So you should be good too go.

Put the spring on the screw first. Then the washer, then the O ring. Put that assembly down the tower and screw it in. Leave off the tamper-proof cap.

You will find sometimes that the washer and O ring will fall off if you try putting it all 'down the hole' with the carbs in the upright position. Try positioning the 90 degrees so the screw can be inserted parallel to the bench top. Nothing can fall off the screw that way.

i would put a tiny dab of lithium grease on the assembly before dropping it in place with the carbs straight up.

Ahh..grease would be a good idea. I went to the local Yamaha dealer and asked if they happened to have the o-ring I needed. After explaining what I needed dude brought out the tiny little thing. "How much?"..."Just get her running Man" he said...nice guy. Anyway o-ring fit like a glove, got the assembly in, found the other three turned out about 4 turns. Reset all to 3 turns out, re-synched, took her for a spin. Occasional backfires gone, running smoooooth. I like this bike!
