I just got this 78' xs1100 with 45k polished and am working on restoration of this monster, I have searched and am having a hard time getting this figured out. Most of it has to do with reading the wiring diagram.
Question 1: The wiring diagram shows the front left turn signal having brown (BR), blue (L), and a ground, the right front turn signal shows dark green (DG), blue (L) and a ground. is there any way to hook up a two wire aftermarket blinker? Are blinkers grounded by the nut and light housing?
2: I've also located a what looks to be a red and blue connection in the lighting housing as well should this be there or is it possible its pink and blue and my horn connections? Sorry PO had a mess going on.
3: Should the fuse holders be wired in order shown in diagrams? Can you still get the 12v10a slo-blo's anymore? If not any suggestions on replacements?
4: Does anyone know the size bolt needed for the oil drain plug? PO used a NGK sparkplug with sealer )
