Hey guys I have had a set of progressive fork springs for about 3 months now and haven't really been too impressed . I wanted a lower front end so I cut a shorter spacer when I installed my springs. I went with 2" spacer instead of the 3.5" spacer recommended by Progressive. Having a Fetter fairing the front end felt spongy, weak and didn't feel good over many bumps in the road. So this week I decided to put in 4" spacers just to put a bit more preload on the springs and raised my fork tubes up to lower the front .
My bike now handles 100% better and the ride is so much smoother . Just throwing it out there what I experienced with my new up grade. For me shorter spacers were just to sloppy.
